This is a list of the major events & activities for this year taht the IESI was part of, To see detailed activities including smaller updates and events click here

1. Islamic Education Training seminar Sep-2003: A training seminar that took place on September 2003, its objective was to provide Muslims with the needed training and education to spread education and knowledge about Islam.

2. Discover Islam Event in Chattanooga, TN in March 2003: A Discover Islam event that was held at the Chattanooga bi centennial library in March of 2003.

3. City Council and Mayor Presentation and Gift package in 2003: we have delivered a speech in the city council monthly meeting, then presented each councilman and woman with a education package about Islam

4. Libraries & Books Donations: over 1000 books were donated to area libraries through this project in 2002.

5. Muslim Women Society of Chattanooga launched: To create a united community of Muslim Women working together with the common goal of strengthening our sisterhood, families, and communities, as well as, helping and educating ourselves and others.

6. Discovery Museum of Chattanooga event: the IESI sponsored a table at the discovery museum end of year event and offered children many activities including coloring, a gift bag and islamic coloring books.

7. Quran help To Chattanooga State College: We delivered 15 copies of the Quran translation of the meanings to a class in Chattanooga State that is going to start studying the Quran contents, Here is a quote from the Professor in his email

8. A lecture at The Southern Adventist University (Islam & Business Ethics): A lecture was conducted at the Southern Adventist University about Islam And Business Ethics.

9. Ramadan Gift Pack Ramadan 2003: For Ramadan this year we have printed and distributed free of charge, a Ramadan Booklet and Quran CD a to talk of about 200 copies of each was used.

10. Meeting with Bryan College students: On 10/09/03 we met with about 15 student from Bryan college in Tennessee for about 2 hours and talked about Islam and answered many questions they have. See the presentation we used.

11. Discover islam Project launched: The project is designed to help the non Muslims through out the world and especially in the USA  better understand Islam & The Muslims and discover Islam.

12. The launch of the Muslims Internet directory & services.

13. The establishment of the Islamic Education & Services institute.
